Is this not the cutest post? It has over 47 million views! Why is this video so popular and what does this warm connection between a young Dad and his toddler teach us about parenting? The most obvious aspect is his connection with his son. He is not distracted. He is listening and responding. His cell phone is no where to be seen. Even though his son is only a year and a half old this Dad is taking the time to treat his toddler in an as mature and independent way as is possible. He is not coddling him, and is acting with respect towards this young man. Now we are glimpsing 3 minutes of their life together but what a great minute and a half to try and emulate!
